한국 사람이 아프리카 여행할 때 골치 아픈 부분이 나미비아 비자입니다.
물론 대행해도 되지만 대행료가 엄청 비쌉니다. (뭐 이유가 있겠지만요)
잠비아와 남아공에서 받을 수 있지만 여행 일정상 3-4일이나 기다릴 수가 없어서 다른 방법을 알아봤습니다.
저는 여행 경로에 인도와 에티오피아가 있는 관계로 거기서 받을 궁리를 하고 있었습니다.
인터넷 서핑을 해보니 뉴델리에 고등판무관 사무실이 있고 거기서 비자 발급이 가능하더군요.

메일을 보내니 답을 안 합니다. 에티오피아 아디스아바바의 나미비아 대사관에서는 한국 사람한테 비자 발급 안해줬다는 이야기가 있어서 홈피 내용만 믿고 가기에는 좀 무리가 있었습니다.
전화 걸어볼까라는 생각도 있었는데 국제통화료도 그렇고 과연 전화로 걔내들 발음을 알아들을 수 있을까 하는 생각이 들더군요,
마침 제가 외환 시그니처 카드가 있어서 컨시어지서비스를 이용할 수 있었습니다. 그래서 알아봐달라고... 부탁을 했죠.
그런데 거기서도 통화가 연결이 안된다고 햇는데 한 2주 지나니 통화가 됬다고 답을 줬습니다.
통화한 결과 한국사람도 가능하고 신청후 4-5일 정도 후에 비자가 나온다고 하며 초청장은 현지 호텔 예약서류로 가능하다고 합니다.
비자피는 싱글 2300루피 (4만원 정도), 더블 4600루피 (8만원 정도)입니다.
하지만 상세 페이지에 들어가면 시간이 다르게 나와있다.

필요한 서류는 다음과 같다
Form 3-1/003, an application form for a visitors visa should be duly filled in by the applicant in duplicate along with two recent passport-size photographs. - 신청서, 여권 크기 사진 2장
Motivation letter from the applicant clearly stating the purpose and duration of visit.
